Jupiter Salutes SS433 ~ 19 Sep 2013

Jupiter, from his fostering residence in Cancer, is about to salute the enigmatic star system, SS433, who stirs the cosmic pot from its post at 20 Capricorn 20 (present epoch).

SS433 is known as the bastard star because Australian astronomer Paul Murden exclaimed, “We’ve got the bastard,” upon isolation of the object they promised would be “flag-waving.” Sadly, Murden did not know it had already been listed as the 433rd object in a catalog compiled by Bruce Stephenson and Nicholas Sanduleak of Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. And so it goes in the highly competitive world of astronomical discovery.

Consider that Jupiter soon opposes (October 27th to be precise) the object described as “a truly unique discovery,” “the enigma of the century,” “164-day stellar wonder,” and “a star that seems to be coming and going at the same time.” Realizing the exact alignment is more than a month away and given that it “fires from both hips,” “nods,” “burps,” “blows matter away” and is “ballistic,” perhaps extra time is required to maximize the influence of Jupiter’s aspect to this compelling astrophysical entity.

A star system that was initially considered to be a neutron star in a locked, consumptive orbit with a yellow star, some speculate SS433 may be a black hole. We do know it has x-ray jets and lobes, radio corkscrew jets and flares. “bullets” in the jets, optical, radio and x-ray variability over the course of hours and beam bag links between the jets of SS433 and the "ears" of nearby Super Nova remnant,W50. No wonder it attracted so much attention and achieved wonder status.

Within SS433 a longer period precession cycle of 164 days coexists with short period cycles of 13.1 days and 6.3 days. Half of the greater 164-day cycle, it appears to be approaching; half of the same cycle it looks as though it backs away, rendering an on/off, approach/retreat, hither and yon demeanor. As well, with the shorter half cycle, there is a week on/week off attitude that it carries. One week SS433 prefers to be extroverted and out there; the next week the opposite is true.

Within its polar axis and light shifts SS433 possesses an extremely polarizing nature. It’s a lightning rod for controversy. Its nature comes across as saintly to some and as debauched and beyond redemption to others. Today, Pope Francis kicked off the “Jupiter goes for broke in opposition to SS433" campaign. He said that the church should not “interfere spiritually” in the lives of those who are LGBT. Oh boy, here we go. Since the Pope said it, that’s dang near a new doctrine... or Jupiterian proclamation... that opposes entrenched beliefs that stand in diametrical contradiction with one another.

Bearing in mind that if you go for active application of the Jupiter-SS433 opposition, you’ll likely become the nucleus of controversy within the scope and sphere of your world, there are some amazing benefits to cultivate.

Restoration of Pure Energy Flow:

Starting now and possibly continuing a long while, given Jupiter’s station in November in virtual opposition to SS433, expect spontaneous, chilling surges of white-hot energy up and down the spine. That’s the raw kundalini energy working a perfect weave between the chakras and melting out toxins and possibly tripping a few circuit breakers. That’s okay. Circuit breakers can easily be reset with the rediscovery of one’s purest truest inner nature. Deep tissue massage, acupuncture, and chiropractic adjustments may be something to consider as this transit develops to allow more natural energy flow.

Rediscovery of the Primal, Intrinsic Nature:

Should you feel that part of who you are hides out, is embarrassed to speak up, longs for boldness and the uninhibited expression of creativity and eccentricity, stand by. This pattern shakes it loose. You may blurt, boldly proclaim and shoot your inner beliefs and/or talents from the hip. While the aim is not perfect, the action garners attention. This is one of the biggest “be who you long to be” transits there can be. By the way, this is part one of three wildly stimulating oppositions from Jupiter that extend through the end of May next year. Be bold. And know that when you state your position, polarity will result. You will have fans. There will be those that boo your efforts. The best part, despite external reaction, on the internal level, you’re aligned with your core.

Restructuring of the Internal Clock:

Whatever you kick off during this transit will have an 82-day cycle of extreme and dedicated push. Do not let up during this surge. After 82 days, back off. Review, assess, refine, perfect and retreat from the public eye for 82 days. Then, reset and push forward again.

Concurrently, begin to apply a week on/week off mentality, not uncommon to those who may live in a rural location. One week, you’re active, attending social and community events, gathering provisions at the store and putting your intentions out there. The next week, retreat back into your space. Reflect a lot. Recreate your mediation, affirmation, prayer routine, whatever that looks like. Focus on creative/inventive output.

Applying the above cycles, likely your efforts neatly synchronize with the transits of Jupiter to SS433. You might just find yourself working faster than you possibly knew you could.

A final point before wrapping it up today: While it may appear that boldness and controversy defies the Capricornian nature. It does not. Jupiter demands exaggeration, effective histrionics, hyperbole and bigness. And ultimately, consider that “capricious” and “capriciousness” evolve from the root word caprus, or goat-like. Yes indeed, leaps of faith done with whimsical abandon do not defy the need for precision in life. Nor do such leaps ignore the clear calculation of the extent of one’s skills and abilities. Such surges for progress and purpose personify those attributes.

Jupiter offers a salute to those who dare. Look before you leap, if you must have some Saturn, to feel safer. But leap.

More soon.
